Prompted by exploring re-mapping ECU on my 2009 750 Guzzi - by which I mean finding some auto -computer geek who can do it for me - I have been exploring vintage bikes.
Then the Guzzi failed its MOT on the dip beam not working. Therefore I had to trace the fault. There are 30+ pages in the manual on the electrical system - and 5 relays under the seat. That was it - I decided that I would downdate the bike to something I understand to the last nut & bolt. alienating! 1939 Velocette MSS 500cc OHV.
Can we develop technology for today which is as simple as this bike and also delivering what we need for life of quality in the 21st Century?
